Standing on the steps of the Sacre Coeur
Standing on the steps of the Sacre Coeur, the highest point in Paris looking across the city, just hours after we wandered the catacombs the city's deep dark foundations.

....as the cemeteries fill so the long time dead were moved and stored in the labyrinthine passageways beneath the city.
Skulls and bones join the foundations of Paris, once a citizen of Paris always a citizen of Paris, alive or dead.
