Flags

National flags make me think of war and divisions rather than unity, perhaps this is because they define who they unify.
Because of the colonial nature of British history, seeing the Union Jack makes me ashamed and aware of the damage that Britain has done to world's nations.
This photograph of the Union Jack hanging forlornly against the stormy sky, expresses the sadness I feel whenever I catch a glance of it.
